I became an SLP because…
in college, I was searching for a field in which I could be passionate about the work I do, and truly enjoy it. When I discovered speech-language pathology, I instantly knew this was it! My interests in language, the brain, and working with others fit perfectly with this career. As I learned how much advocacy work and social justice play a part in this field, my love for SLP continued to grow.
I wanted to work at CHAT because…
I discovered CHAT during my SLP graduate program, and their mission instantly piqued my interest. I wanted to combine my love for the field of SLP with my values and interest in social justice work, and working at CHAT allows me to feel confident about providing neurodivergent affirming, social justice-oriented services.
In my free time I enjoy…
trying new restaurants and recipes with friends, and crafting! I like making jewelry and have recently started getting into stained glass.
