I became an SLP because…
The fact that I could work with all ages across different settings was what motivated me the most. I love that our field covers a wide variety of populations, most of which have previously never heard of what SLPs do! I feel that I’m a part of a bigger purpose to spread awareness and aid in the growth of our field.
What makes you excited about your work?
I’m excited to learn, apply what I know, and learn again! There is nothing more rewarding to me than being able to provide knowledge and support to someone in need, and I can only do that by continuing my journey as a life-long student. I am also excited to make connections with the fellow therapists and build off of each other.

I love going to the gym, visiting my brother’s new puppy (Juniper), and have recently picked up DJing!
