What motivated you to become an SLP?
I always knew I wanted to help others, but wasn’t sure what career path I wanted to take. I ended up taking an introductory speech and hearing course to fulfill a distribution requirement in college, which opened my eyes to the world of SLP! SLP combines my passion for working with children with my interest in all things language.
What made you want to work at CHAT?
I am passionate about social justice and advocacy, which aligns with CHAT’s mission to provide quality, equitable healthcare services to all.
What makes you excited about your work?
I get excited when I see my clients reach their goals!
What do you like to do in your free time?
Staying active through yoga, exploring new crochet projects, and reading as much as I can!
