I became an SLP because…

speech pathology combined my love of helping people with my love of English/language and interest in neuroscience

I get excited about…

the little joys and small successes, whether, it’s the parent being excited a child tried a fruit for the first time, a child engaging in a music activity when they haven’t before, or simply laughing with a child while popping bubbles. It feels so special to be a part of a child’s life and help them grow their skills one step at a time.

In my free time I enjoy…

traveling, reading, and spending time outside (e.g., hiking, kayaking, walking Ellie, etc.).
