I became an SLP because…
My brother was born with a bilateral cleft lip and palate and was later diagnosed with ADHD. I want to be able to help others the way that his speech pathologist so positively and meaningfully helped my family.
One thing I love about being an SLP is…
Being able to connect with the way someone uniquely communicates and helping them work past their struggles and frustrations in order to communicate and advocate more confidently with their community and loved ones.
In my free time I enjoy…
hiking with my dog, crafting, reading, and playing board games with friends!
