For the first time ever, CHAT participated in Giving DuPage Days. This was a five-day virtual fundraiser (May 2nd to May 6th) to spur giving to over 95 local non-profits. During that week, CHAT was busy sharing information about who we are, why we exist, and our impact on children to potential donors through email and social media in hopes of raising more dollars for CHAT!
To inspire giving, we had an anonymous donor commit a $500 match if we reached a total of $500 in the first day of giving. We met that goal in the first 15 hours of the campaign!
Ultimately, the campaign raised $2,106 from 26 donors. 100% of these donations will go to our scholarship fund to ensure underserved children are able to access the speech and language services they need.
