What motivated you to become an SLP?

My background in theater led me to a specialized study of voice and text and those interests led me to the field of speech pathology from there I discovered my love of working with especially young children as well as adults seeking to take charge of their communication skills.

What made you want to work at CHAT?

I wanted to work at chat because of their work in social justice and advocacy. I enjoy the opportunity to work in a variety of settings and the passion of the people in the organization.

What makes you excited about your work?

Having the opportunity to help people communicate to their community about what’s important to them, and about who they are.

What do you like to do in your free time?

Writing, reading books and scripts, going on mini adventures around the city.
