I became an SLP because…
I always knew growing up that I wanted my future career to be centered in working with children. After discovering the communication disorders major in college, I realized that it was the perfect fit for me. My goal is to help kids succeed with their communication skills, and find support in me as a therapist while having fun along the way.
I love being part of the CHAT team because…
I love being an advocate and support system to the students/clients that I work with. Social justice and inclusion are very important to me, and CHAT shines a light on our role as speech therapists in advocating for the best possible services for our clients regardless of background. CHAT is a very unique and special organization!
In my free time I enjoy…
Gardening or taking care of my (many) houseplants, reading novels, playing and snuggling with my dog Sofie, going on hikes, and watching any and all genres of movies!
