Sarah first came to CHAT to complete her clinical fellowship in 2014. After several years in a variety of Chicago schools and our clinic, she was promoted to Senior Speech Language Pathologist. Sarah's passion is providing access to therapy for ALL, and CHAT has allowed her to fulfill this passion by bringing specialized programs into the schools we serve. Sarah especially enjoys the unpredictable, challenging, and rewarding nature of pragmatic therapy within our social communication program. She feels empowered by CHAT’s support to tackle barriers to service, which in turn allows her to empower families to advocate for themselves. Sarah is excited to continue with CHAT in improving access and advocacy for ALL!
Sarah holds a BA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she majored in Communicative Disorders. She loved Madison and cheese, so decided to stick around to complete her MS in Speech-Language Pathology. Sarah loves visiting her family downtown and in the surrounding suburbs of Chicago, and lives in Lakeview with her partner.
