I wanted to become an SLP because…
I’ve always been interested in science-related careers and loved that the field of speech pathology was so vast and impactful. My sister received IEP supports in school and my family felt so overwhelmed about the process and how to best support her. I want to support families and individuals who are going through similar experiences and make a positive impact in their lives!
