I became an SLP because…
I knew I wanted to be in a profession that would fulfill my passion of serving others and helping them reach their full potential. After observing an SLP, I was fascinated by the science of speech and how communication looks differently for each person, but remains an essential tool for every day living.
I love working at CHAT because…
We have a range opportunities here, such as working at a therapeutic day school and a clinic setting. I’m also able to be part of CHAT’s summer programs for literacy, language and pragmatics. Lastly, I value the mentorship and collaboration with our team of experienced SLP’s.
One aspect of my job that excites me is…
Meeting clients and families of all backgrounds to support them on their journey with speech services! I am looking forward to teaching skills through play-based activities and building independence along the way.
