I was motivated to become an SLP because…

As a child, after observing all of my sister’s speech therapy sessions, I saw first-hand how fundamental communication is to our human identity, and the difference a speech-language pathologist can make in a child’s quality of life.

One aspect of my job that excites me is…

Being able to combine my compassion for others and my desire to help with my creativity. It’s exciting and rewarding to watch someone become confident in their own voice and ability to communicate.

One of my personal goals is too…

Visit all 50 states! I love traveling to new places.
